音の美しさと、音の行間に耳を澄ませながらピアノを弾いています。

略歴

岩手県大船渡市生まれ。千葉県八街市を経て、仙台市で育つ。

日本とチェコで研鑽を積み、現在は

仙台を拠点に演奏活動を重ねる。

チェコ作品との出会いを原点に、

ソロリサイタル、室内楽、

タンゴ五重奏など幅広く活動している。

モーツァルトからヒナステラ、

ピアソラに至るまで、時代や地域を

超えた幅広いレパートリーを持つ。

学歴

山形大学卒業後、チェコ共和国・プラハ音楽院へ2年間留学。

ヤナ・マハラーチコヴァ、故・ハヌシュ・バルトンの両氏に師事。

帰国後、桐朋学園大学院大学修士課程を修了。

同大学院で三上桂子、故・野島稔の両氏に師事。

チェコ・プラハにてチェコラジオ放送出演

2004年　

プラハ・パールフィ宮殿 室内楽ホールにてデビュー・ソロリサイタル開催

2005年　

イタリア・パドヴァ　Sala dei Gigantiにて

パドヴァ国際音楽コンクールピアノ部門第1位を受け、ピアノソロリサイタルを行う。（現地紙に掲載）

2007〜2011年　

仙台　リサイタルシリーズ「プラハからの手紙」Ⅰ〜Ⅳ開催

2014年 

東京・有楽町のスタインウェイサロン松尾ホールにて、ピアノリサイタルを開催

2016年　

スメタナ作品によるピアノリサイタル開催（仙台　パトナホール）

2018年　

CD『夢〜スメタナ ピアノ作品集』リリース

2020〜2022年　

仙台にてコロナ禍の中、ピアノリサイタルを継続して開催

2023〜2025年

室内楽を岩崎淑、岩崎洸、藤原浜雄、新実徳英の各氏に師事。

ソルフェージュを伊東寧子氏、音楽理論・和声を故・本間雅夫氏に師事。

マスタークラス・特別レッスンなどでユージン・インジック、マーティン・ヒューズ、ブルーノ・カニーノ、田部京子諸氏のレッスンを受ける。

Seiju Sasaki – Pianist

Seiju Sasaki is a pianist based in Sendai, Japan.

He listens closely to the beauty of sound

and to the silence between notes,

seeking a natural sense of phrasing,

color, and expression at the piano.

Background

Born in Ofunato,

Iwate Prefecture, Japan.

Raised in Yachimata, Chiba,

and Sendai, Miyagi.

Sasaki studied in Japan

and the Czech Republic,

and is currently based in Sendai.

His repertoire ranges

from Mozart to Piazzolla.

He performs actively in Japan and abroad,

with a focus on solo and chamber music.

• Graduated from Yamagata University,

Faculty of Education,

Music Culture Course,

where he studied piano performance.

• Studied for two years

at the Prague Conservatory

in the Czech Republic,

under Jana Maharachkova

and the late Hanuš Bartoň.

• Completed the Master’s Program

at Toho Gakuen Graduate School of Music,

studying with Katsurako Mikami

and the late Minoru Nojima.

Artistic Philosophy

Sasaki’s repertoire centers on

Romantic piano music,

especially works by Chopin and Liszt,

while also extending to Mozart,

Smetana, Ginastera, and Piazzolla.

He has a deep interest in Czech music,

including works by Smetana,

Janáček, Suk, and Fischer,

and has continued to introduce

lesser-known piano works

through recitals and recordings.

In recent years,

he has also focused on the music

of Argentine composer Alberto Ginastera.

His recital series “With Mozart”

explores Mozart’s music

on the modern piano,

with attention to style,

clarity, and historical sensibility.

In both solo and chamber music,

he values color, phrasing, breath,

and the quiet space between sounds.
